Felt right to warm up the Vestax, the golden chariot that carried every @pelvispelvispelvis party through the age of @goodgodgoodgod .
Sometimes we forgot slipmats, so the bar staff would give us chux wipes to trim into circles. A couple of these 12’s hold an exquisite polish, perhaps owing to their history with those wipes.

We are seeking submissions from femmes, queers, and trans folks. Playback strives to reflect all voices in our broad and beautiful community - we want to hear tracks from far and wide.
To support this, Playback prioritises submissions made by folks who are traditionally marginalised in the music industry. This means sometimes, tracks by others may be queued until the near future to ensure each event healthily represents a cross-section of the community.
Submissions are open for our next event until Sunday 15 June.

Ryan Powderly is one of Pelvis’ record label heads, a music production educator, and the organiser and host of Narrm/Melbourne’s Ableton User Group.
Along with teaching music production and DJing at RMIT and UniMelb, Ryan is co-founder of Big Racket, an electronic music school for all ages.
We’re lucky enough to have Ryan joining DJ and producer Lex as guest facilitators for our May event, sharing their tips of the trade and feedback on your tracks.
