For half a year we’ve been seperated by 16.000km, Viktor in CPH and Mathias travelling Australia. Inspired by the underground electronic scene and gatherings in both places, we’ve been writing, brewing and braiding together our impressions. Every artist on this compilation has kindly donated their track, and 100% of profits go directly to the JMB Educational Fund — a charity founded by ANNX’s late grandfather, and the original catalyst for WHOMP’s fundraising mission. The fund sponsors disadvantaged children into education in Nepal.

It’s a pleasure to introduce you to RunaRift. The moment they reached out and enquired about a potential release, our eyes lit up as this is exactly why Influence Ears was created. Mathias & Viktor have mastered their own take of the old school progressive sound, knowing the genre inside and out it’s clear every project has its own unique story to tell. After careful consideration we felt ‘Zyra’ & ‘Seraphina’ stood out amongst a highly competitive selection. It’s an incredible feeling to come across other artists who share this same level of passion about music and in particular, old school progressive trance. We can feel a big future coming for the duo and can’t wait to see where this ourney takes them.

A blend of ancient Nordic mysticism and minimalistic psychedelic trance, Danish duo RunaRift—formed by childhood friends @mathiasmcadam and @viktorhagner . Drawing inspiration from oldschool Scandinavian trance, they combine minimalistic textures and hard-hitting trance rhythms with groovy psychedelic elements.
Their sound weaves ethereal themes, deep basslines, and atmospheric vibrations, transporting listeners into a realm of Nordic dystopia with a modern, hypnotic twist.
