It’s a pleasure to introduce you to RunaRift. The moment they reached out and enquired about a potential release, our eyes lit up as this is exactly why Influence Ears was created. Mathias & Viktor have mastered their own take of the old school progressive sound, knowing the genre inside and out it’s clear every project has its own unique story to tell. After careful consideration we felt ‘Zyra’ & ‘Seraphina’ stood out amongst a highly competitive selection. It’s an incredible feeling to come across other artists who share this same level of passion about music and in particular, old school progressive trance. We can feel a big future coming for the duo and can’t wait to see where this ourney takes them.

Back with a bang! Episode 7 is here and we couldn’t be happier to share this one with you all. An artist who truly reflects and represents what we are all about over here at Influence Ears. Tactile has been one we’ve had our eye on for a while and this mix is a clear indication of why that was the case. A broad selection of old school gems intertwined with new school excellence from producers who’ve made their mark on the underground prog trance worldwide, both new and old. We’re as excited as ever to welcome you to episode 7! This time round, we would like to introduce you to Corinna. Whether you’re familiar with the name or not, Tactile has been a consistent force in the underground psy scene in Berlin for quite some time now. Whilst throwing quality prog parties and releasing mixes on her Label ‘Trips’ she can also be found behind the laptop designing flyers and posters for events and releases. After being lucky enough to catch her live at a party in Berlin, it was decided straight away that we needed to find a way to have her grace our series. And that she did! Episode 6 already, how time flies! We’re proud to present something a little different to what we’ve previously known. An 80 minute journey through the deep depths of experimental techno, David (DVUS) has inspired us as a collective to really explore and appreciate the different soundscapes this genre of music has to offer. A well thought out mix, full of twists, turns and tripped out sound design an outright music lover can always appreciate. What a pleasure it was to have David grace our little mix series.

Diving straight into the 6th edition of In Your Ears, David has been kind enough to gift us a fantastic 80 minutes of soothing, deep & trippy experimental techno. A genre evolving before our eyes which has taken the music scene by storm. A tracklist that features many of our favs, David had our heads turned with a mix alongside @yaniv_dj through the intimate Above Below gathering’s mix series. Not only has he co founded this beauty of a festival in the UK, many hours have been spent perfecting his sound and organising his music arsenal to a level which we admire. Lore, formally known as Far Out, looks to take a step forward in the production game with a fresh new alias and take on his ever-expanding sound. Staying true to his original euphoric roots, Lore can be heard intertwining fast paced psychedelic sound design with entangled yet simple percussive grooves resulting in a discrete yet distinct sound we continue to talk amongst ourselves about. With 3+ years of production experience under his belt, the drive and development is something we have always admired.

As we come to the 5th instalment of our ‘In Your Ears’ series, we’re surprised we were able to hold onto this one as long as we have. An outstanding showcase of the immense arsenal Psyress (Adam) possesses. A true lover of trance and dramatically eager selector who leaves it all out there when curating a progression of music that just makes sense. With under a year of experience yet countless mixes through well respected labels and collective, this 1.5 hour treat is a perfect opportunity to witness and understand why Adam is a big talking point in the underground progressive scene.
