My second time here.
2018 I did the ultra grand slam and came back in 2026 for same adventure ⛰️
Friday: 10km 540m+- magic run. Bags of fun
Saturday: 100km 4,800m+- magic run until 35km then a wall. Trudged the remaining 65km. My most challenging ultra run yet.
Sunday: 42km 1,600+ 2,650m- full of positivity and fatigue, a beautiful day out.
Total: 25hrs 36min - 152km - 7,000m up 8,000m down
Such a well organised and professional event. Put it on your list!!! What a weekend!

Packed and ready. Mandatory gear can be a pain but is an absolute necessity. Especially in regions like the Victorian Alps and long distances off road, I was here 2018 and the weather turned absolutely atrocious and all gear was needed.
Although the weather forecast looks good now, anything can happen. Let’s go 👊

20th Anniversary event for @trailrunningqld . A double loop of pinnacles - 36km over the hills and around the reservoir was a top way to spend a wet Sunday with mates and the trail running community 🙏

Recovery Run – Barefoot for ⬇️

• Helps loosen the legs after a long run
Add a simple 10 to 20 minute barefoot jog on grass one afternoon each week after a long or hard run in the morning. You will feel the benefits quickly and your stride will naturally improve.
