Hadn’t seen Scooter in a while and after 10 minutes of chatting on the phone… I asked what he was up to that night… 2 months later… first show this Sunday… Myrtle matinee from 2-5pm… Frank saved the date for the Gnar, but that fell through and these guys were gonna do it instrumentally… I volunteered my pipes… you can argue that I hijacked these guys to their detriment… I thought it was going to be a one-off hit… it’s since become a two-off… there’s another one in October, more on that later… the deal was new songs and a new name… figured it’d be a good end of summer exercise in songwriting… jokingly I suggested… ruff.feechers & The Band Formally Known As… r.f & TBFKAG… however, as with every level of society today, “decision by committee” gets extremely complicated… we temporarily settled on… A.
