This kinda feels cringe, but I’ll bite. In 2016 I was living in Logan Square, doing standup, playing in @_thieves_ and working a job that kept me financially secure, but chipped away at my peace and my happiness every single day. 10 years later I haven’t performed live in years and I’m scraping by in one of the most competitive industries in the world, trying to figure out what the rest of my life looks like. I’m spending my days making sure 2036 me is stronger, happier, and more secure than I am today. I’m not sure that work ever really stops, until we do.
