Vick & Tarstar's Scarecrow Factory - Philadelphia Encore Premiere plays at @solarmythbar along with @rubythehatchet Valley of the Snake - Live to Tape at Retro City in two weeks! 8/28 at 7:30 Ruby The Hatchet performed their classic album Valley of the Snake at @retrocitystudios for the 10 year anniversary of the album's original release. Retro City recorded the performance direct to analog tape which will be released on vinyl with no computer editing at all. The performance was also recorded on analog VHS by @bloodsickproductions . This studio session video is about 27 minutes and will play before the feature film. Vick & Tarstar's Scarecrow Factory is a brand new MumbleGore film by Brewce Longo & Kasper Meltedhair. It features a lot of collaboration from Solar Myth employees. It stars Brewce Longo & Gaby Bogdanoff as the titular Vick & Tarstar. The soundtrack includes Max Black's band Knifeplay. Amelia Hilden was a story consultant on Trichotillomania and even Nikki Eddy was an extra. Vick & Tarstar's Scarecrow Factory is a fictionalized "making-of" film that follows Blood Busted Productions as they're shooting their latest epic, "Scarecrowed" with a cast and crew of punks, fetish models and dumpster divers. Set back with relationship drama, crew quitting, homelessness and lack of funding, they just want to finish their movie and tell their story: With the right bucket, you too could buy your own hair cutting scarecrow made by the Goo Guys at the Scarecrow Factory.
