And just like that… the final five-look critique is complete and my senior collection is just about wrapped up!

spent january in costa rica. spring semester at mayo. the summer at home, in colorado, and in the UK. and fall semester back on campus. as always, the year flew by! I was surprised by the amount of love and connection this year brought. now looking forward to 2026, my family is encouraging me to not plan too far ahead, but sometimes I just can’t help myself!! the year of 2025 gave me a lot of good. excited to see what comes next. if anyone has any good music or book recommendations, send them my way!
A first glimpse of my senior collection, Back to Folk.
Inspired by the storytelling spirit of folk music and the deeper meaning of the word “folk” itself, community, craft, and connection, this collection explores a return to what feels real in a fast-moving world. A project rooted in the idea of returning back to the land, back to the hand, back to folk.
This first quarter mapped the foundation: concept books, textile explorations, knit and yarn studies, draping forms, prototypes, and critiques that carved the path ahead.
