Such an honor to have our first residential project featured in
@archdigest , made all the more special being the home of the incredible Olivia Cooke (
@livkatecooke ) who we absolutely adore.
This project came to us just two months after launching Atelier LK, and we knew from our first conversation with Olivia that we were going to have fun. Her vision was vivid, funny, and completely her own. She wanted the space to feel transportive, not necessarily like London, and most memorably, like an old cigar, or like stepping into a warm bath. Those two phrases stuck, and we developed her sanctuary from there.
Rich wood tones, soft textures, a sense of lived-in luxury. A place to return to after long weeks of filming. We wanted it to feel layered, inviting, and unpretentious, grounded in a restrained palette and rich materiality.
We’re so grateful to Olivia for taking a chance on a young studio, and for trusting us to interpret her brilliantly idiosyncratic brief in our own way. The kind of trust that makes all the difference.
It was a joy to develop our Atelier LK furniture throughout the home, and to collaborate with some of our favourites. Thank you
@lndwrk for the quiet, grounding backdrop.
Lastly, thank you
@amyastley for championing this project and making our AD print debut a reality, and
@_h_mart_ for telling the story with such generosity and fun.
