We’ll be filming a music video for @newdawn.tx on APRIL 17th as well as putting on a private show afterwards with @japanesedreamm 😤 Doors open at 6:30pm and filming starts at 7pm sharp!!
🚨 Capacity is LIMITED— so RSVP ASAP and THOSE WHO PAY AHEAD OF TIME WILL BE PRIORITIZED. 🚨
CashApp is preferred for the same reason. If choose to pay at the door, you will be moved to a will-call list. BUT DON’T WORRY— we’ll have a bartender on hand making drinks in the staging area and once filming is done you can filter in and out to catch the show!!

An astronomically huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who attended @indigodancecompany ’s screening in Austin a couple weekends back at @rosetteatx . 🥹🫶🏽 It was a blast to not only take part in the screening but to witness the community Indigo continues to grow across the country come out to support. 🤙🏽
We shot this with the appalling posts made by @icegov and @whitehouse making fun of undocumented immigrants in mind. And with the recent mass deportations and raids, our only regret is that we didn’t come at them harder and sooner.
Stand up for your neighbors, defend what’s right, make meaningful art.
Congrats to Laredo’s own @yo_gabba and @lrdthecompany for having their films shown as well as Indigo’s two stellar films. 👏🏽

Come check out some incredible dance films and our NOT HORROR FILM (unless you consider the current treatment of undocumented immigrants to be horrific, which we do). It’s a western/sci-fi film inspired by recent social media propaganda. ☄️🛸🚀

❤️🔥 Thought we’d do Good Friday (April 18th) right and screen TWO films that show how spiritual narratives shape our culture — and how Catholic guilt makes for surprisingly charged, human storytelling.
❤️🔥 FILM 1: A 1973 rock opera (music and lyrics by A***** L**** W****r) steeped in 1970s grooviness that reframes the final days of Jesus as a story of fame, doubt, and political unrest, from the POV of a conflicted Judas.
❤️🔥 FILM 2: A 1988 drama directed by M***** S******e that offers a disarming, human portrayal of Jesus, exploring his fears and temptations, imagining a path he might have taken.
🎥 Both films sparked controversy for their revisionist, “blasphemous” takes on the story of Jesus. Both films also earned praise for their bold, introspective explorations of spiritual sacrifice and complex depictions of faith, divinity, and the human condition.
🎥 In a community where Catholic roots run deep, we invite you to reflect on the ways this story has shaped our lives and engage in a meaningful discussion about how spiritual stories are told through film.

A film that bridges divides. NO OTHER LAND was made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four activists in what they describe as an act of resistance.
This screening isn’t just about watching a film—it’s an invitation to engage in conversation about identity, community, and what it means to build a shared future. Now more than ever, it’s SO important that we educate *ourselves* about issues that shape our world and the lives of others.
