Arte y Pasión is a Texas-based 501c3 nonprofit organization known for pushing the boundaries of flamenco and Spanish dance, whose mission is to share, promote and develop the authentic art of flamenco as a vehicle of healing and restoration, and the promotion of human rights and equality.
From 2010 to the present, Arte y Pasión has conceived, produced and performed artistic direction for over 30 theatrical flamenco productions between 2010 and the present.
Since its inception, Arte y Pasión has developed a reputation as one of the most contemporary Spanish dance companies in the United States, addressing issues of restoration of the individual and humanity. In 2025, Arte y Pasión performed SONIDOS DE LIBERTAD “Sounds of Liberty,” a history of Punk as told through the art of flamenco. In 2024, Arte y Pasión performed productions ADVENTURE STORIES, about the joys and pitfalls of venturing into the unknown, and MINHA, a Prayer for Peace, for all involved in Gaza. In 2023, Arte y Pasión performed MERCURIA, an anthem to the impossible choices women must make in pursuit of their own agency.
Today, the company expands its horizons from Texas across the ocean to Spain, promoting and nurturing connections between Spanish and United States based artists on both sides of the Atlantic through inter-cultural collaboration, exchange, mentorship, artistic sharing, and cultural heritage.
