Jasmine is finally out for the world to hear, and I’m beyond excited! I had so much fun creating this track with @aniyateno , @devenraval_ , and @saxpaul20 . I still remember working on the original demo with Dev like 2 years ago, jotting down the hook idea that sparked it all. Aniya helped shape it into what you hear today—pure magic. The bridge of this song is especially one of my favorite moments on the album!! Sometimes I think Aniya is an alien🤣🤣 We reworked the production three or four times, but we stayed patient, trusting the process. Huge thanks to @lavoskiofficial for letting us borrow her Rhodes—we hauled it to @materialinstitute because I was set on getting that specific tone on the track. It was worth it, as Paul brought something truly special to those keys. Then he got on the sax to add even more of that flavor and soul to the record. Dev killed the drums and bass-line on this joint !! Lowkey everyone on this is an alien!! This song is a true team effort—I couldn’t have pulled it off without my incredibly talented friends. This song has actually helped me ground myself in some of my lowest moments this last year so it means a lot to me! These are a few videos I took around the creation of the song so y’all could get a glimpse through my lens !! Material Show Recap !!!! I'm thankful for my friends!! Thankful for @materialinstitute !!! I wasn't going to post this yet, BUT I want to share my album cover for my project Photosynthesis!! Art by @ripism 🖼️ !!! I gave out a few posters the other day!! The project should be out this summer!! Just waiting on the mixes, masters and music videos !!! Thanks to my tribe, I'm truly grateful. It was beautiful seeing my peers perform on stage!! I'm gonna miss my cohort. Also, huge shouts to @ntrl_ground for designing these pants I wore, honored to rock them !! I’ve fallen in and out of love with so many versions of myself, always searching, always evolving. Right now, I feel it’s time to pivot—to step into a groove that feels both familiar and new. Cutting my hair was the first leap, a way of shedding old memories and experiences to make space for the growth ahead. Photosynthesis, the project I’ve been pouring myself into over the past year alongside my brother @saxpaul20 , is a reflection of this journey. It’s about rediscovery, finding the light that sustains me, and embracing the steps forward. I’m deeply grateful to my friends who’ve been instrumental in shaping this project.
