UPDATE: This call-out is now closed. We will be announcing the selected contributors in the coming weeks so please stay tuned 🤍 ——— OPEN CALL — We are inviting submissions for Terrains of the Siege: Spatial Violence in Palestine, a printed publication to be released in 2026. The book examines how israeli settler colonialism organises space and enacts genocide in Gaza. Gaza renders this project visible at scale: cities carved into buffer zones, land levelled, corridors militarised, and administrative regimes that turn time and movement into instruments of enclosure. This is architectural violence operating as policy. We are seeking writing that refuses neutrality, names genocide, and maps the spatial machinery of power. Work that confronts the normalisation of zionist and US expansion and impunity, the liberal fiction that renders this order inevitable, and the architectural design that negates life into oblivion. These analyses anchor the publication’s focus on four terrains — aerial, border, ecological, and decolonial — where this machinery is built and contested. The word limit for written submissions is 1,200 to 1,500 words. Key dates Pitch deadline: 12 Jan 2026, 23:59 AEST Pitch outcomes: 19 Jan 2026, 23:59 AEST Draft development: ~2 months Publication: June 2026 Full call-out, submission details, and an About Us page are in the bio link. All proceeds support First Nations and Palestinian mutual-aid collectives. #opencall

Pr(axis) of Resistance: Selected Writings by Basel al-Araj All proceeds from this publication are donated to mutual aid projects supporting First Nations communities and Palestine. Basel al-Araj was assassinated by the iof in 2017. A pharmacist, writer, and militant, he lived what he called the engaged intellectual: a life inseparable from struggle. His writings, seized alongside his weapons, return here in English for the first time — carrying traces of a generative struggle, a political will that eludes capture and endures. They speak to a praxis of resistance, arising from deathworlds where politics must be made actionable at the scale of crisis. This work is anti-copyright. It may be reproduced, shared, and circulated freely towards collective liberation and struggle. It is not to be sold, commercialised, or used for profit. Foreword by @cr.__.y Edited by @malak.af_ and @cr.__.y Typeset and design by @dennisgrauel Printing supported by @glompress Available for purchase via @suitesevena @pari_ari_
