NOW CLOSED—Open Casting Call for Bowling Bao 🎳 Bowling Bao is a story about a Chinese immigrant bowling community in Vancouver, Canada set in the 1980’s where a young woman fights to take up space at her beloved bowling alley. We are now casting for our short film that will shoot in fall/winter. Written and directed by Rosanna Peng, this project has won Gold with the Young Directors Award in 2023 and won the 2025 BIPOC Women Production Grant with Bend Film.
