The Amazing Flying Goldie!
It was a challenge and a joy to bring this brand new act to stage for @clownswithoutborders last weekend.
Something about tossing plastic fish 20ft into the air really gets a crowd going! Ya gotta see it to believe it!
Big thanks to Dave Clay and @scramblejames for helping me brainstorm the concept.

Clowns without borders is doing their big fundraising show this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. only. That's right ONLY a matinee show see it once and then it's all gone!
This is one of my absolute favorite circus with a cause organizations with absolutely great work all around the world. I am a debuting a new solo act, there are a number of incredible performers flying up from San Francisco as well as joining a huge cast of local Portland all stars from both clown and circus.
Our community really gets behind clowns without borders big time, and there is a reason, the show is going to be great and you should absolutely come and see it.
All proceeds go to benefit the clowns without borders organization and their mission to help spread joy and laughter to disadvantaged people who needed the most all around the world.

I really loved playing this character,
She was a sad faerie
who is learning to love herself
even on her blue days
when you can’t sleep
And struggle to get out of bed.
it felt good to bring a piece
that honors self love
and compassion
for all of our states of existence
and not trying to rush through
or numb out the bad times
but to Feel it
and keep moving.
I’m forever grateful for circus arts, cathartic expression, live musical collaboration, circus family and community.
All without whom I would have never made it through so many blue days.
I love you all 💙🩵💙
You know who you are.

Still feeling all the love from this past weekend performing with @rosecitycircus annual Valentine show! ❤️✨🌹
This was a really dreamy act to create & perform with @jon.dutch . If it was possible to swing out over the audience without knocking things over (which I still managed to do one night) I totally would! Silks are forever the most magical apparatus for me & I hope I took you all away to that special place for a brief moment in time✨✨✨ Footage coming soon!

A Kiss to Build A Dream On 😘✨✨✨
Some of my favorite captures from @boomboomportland & @redjelly39 from @rosecitycircus 2 night Valentine show over the weekend!
I hope you all felt the love! I sure did. I was getting over a bad cold, low energy, lost my voice & even had a costume / tech issue the first night, but the support you all gave me in the greenroom & in the audience reminded me why I show up even when it’s hard!
Thank you, to all of you, you know who you are
🫶🏼❣️✨

I've never been a juggler. Most of my circus career I playfully teased other jugglers. Awhile back I got it in my head that I wanted to be the best perch base I could be, and since all the legendary ones juggle, so should I.
It did not come naturally or easy. Learning from scratch, it was the most frustrating skill I've ever worked. I focused on getting the heads up balance juggle, which is a relatively incredibly hard juggling skill. It's nearly blind catches, while doing another skill that takes literally 100% of your concentration. It's stressful. It's easy to drop. And after a drop I don't get to pick em up and crack a joke and keep going like most other jugglers, if your doing perch and you drop, you just look like an ass. And I knew the reward would be literally 3 seconds on stage, in the midst of a 5 minute act loaded with other other impressive feats.
But I wanted it, I believe in those little moments, when the crowd gets to see something truly inspirational. Something that makes us rethink what we are capable of. So I trained and trained and trained.
I'm proud. Now I get to call myself a juggler.
