BAFTAs last night was honestly such a blur of joy. I was up dancing until the early hours! 💃🕺
Bringing home this award is such an incredible feeling. During my speech, I wanted to really speak from the heart about our industry and the progress we’re making towards true inclusivity. Making sets and crews accessible isn’t just a “nice to have” it’s a necessity, and I’m so proud of the @mammothscreen team that proved how simple that can be when we just listen to one another.

People need to get ready to open more doors for young people. Starting a career in this economic climate is a true feat of strength. Even “entry-level” roles often require prior experience, making it difficult for those just starting out to enter the labor market.

So thrilled to share that my new book has been selected for World Book Day! 🌍📚
I remember growing up and dressing up for the day, my brother’s handmade Willy Wonka costume was always popular, while I just loved being a fairy ✨.
This year feels extra special, because my new book The Big Bang is close to my heart. The character Casper is inspired by my mum’s childhood cat, who was deaf while Rocky and Halo are the cats I grew up with 💕🐾
World Book Day has always been about giving all children access to reading and helping to create imagination. Books gave me that chance, and I hope The Big Bang can do the same for others. 💜
