With a body FULL of electric nervous energy - I stepped out onto the Tivoli stage, met by my amazing band plus an overwhelmingly large crowd 😅 One I’ll never forget. This was the first song of our set that night - I’m so relieved to be sharing it with you all now. Like releasing a held breath. It felt like my heart was inside my throat that entire show, supporting the iconic @hotpotatoband at such an iconic venue..
But I think deep down, I knew I needed to simplify. To uncover all the reasons I was doing it in the first place. Dec 5th last year I was burning out, elated, exhausted, excited, voice shaking and overwhelmed. I have spent lots of time resting since then, and finding other parts of my self I’m learning to understand more every day. In so many ways.
I truly miss this band. But I’m feeling stronger and thankful for the space. For now these memories bring me so much joy, and I hope you can see and feel the joy in these moments too x
