Sharing with you an incredible opportunity to research and work together funded by the European Union, thanks to the Erasmus+ project. It will be possible to apply only for people with a residency in the country mentioned in the infopack due to the Erasmus+ rules (Italy , Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary). Only 30 spots available. Taking part in a youth exchange is a great opportunity to develop your skills, become aware of social realities and cultural differences and reinforce values such as solidarity, democracy and friendship. Youth exchanges will give you the possibility to live together with other youngsters to work together on a common project for a short but intense period. Finally, your learning experiences will be recognised through a Youthpass, a tool which recognises learning outcomes from youth work and solidarity activities. We will have 8 days of yet to explore possibilities with both activity guided by us, the @exploring.animamundi collaborating with @rootsofplay team, and horizontal space to research together. Through it, we will somatically explore the archetypal experiences of descent and ascent, embodying them through movement. Why is it called falling? Will learning how to fall teach me also something about love? Does surrendering, accepting, allowing have something to do with love? I might have fallen in love with each one of you for a few seconds, for three days, while rolling on a tree, falling into a stream of water, holding each other upside down, sleeping under the bark. Kaland also means, from my understanding, spontaneity, to remain authentic to what is, and whenever you lose it, to come back to it. In your presence, I felt the same power that cracks the seed and turns it into a sprout, the same force that makes the seed fall and bury itself underground. What we held for one another were embodied ideas, accepted, supported, and expanded through the collective intelligence of ourselves and nature. To live this experience with some people I already know and deeply love, and with others I didn’t know, but came to love in the process, leaves me with a deep sense of gratitude for the sense of belonging that remains from this adventure. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to experience Kaland together again.
