Photo by @kane_hulse_studio thank you! Untitled Transformation — an exhibition centred on processes of change within functional objects, where form, surface, and meaning continuously shift. The collection examines a state of duality, embracing both the act of masking and the display of raw vulnerabilities. Objects move between states: covered and exposed, soft and structural, present and absent. Layers are applied, altered, and absorbed, as in the series of chairs - Second Skin, where a temporary covering becomes embedded into the structure itself. Transformation unfolds as a gradual transition — a change of skin. Rooted in the context of Georgia, the work reflects both collective and personal processes of moving through inherited layers and their release, alongside a need to reconsider and reshape the country’s historical patterns. Taking André Breton’s notion of Surrealism as a state of mind, the exhibition treats it as a way of structuring thought — where reasoning extends beyond the strictly rational and unfolds through imagination, association, and intuitive logic. Within this condition, everyday objects slip into a quiet surreal state, where fragments of interiors, bodies, and lived experience surface and overlap. The exhibition reimagines a working study, offering an intimate look at the daily environment where curatorial decisions take shape, and highlighting works by an international set of artists who harness the expressive potential of the handmade within their practice. By transforming this compact Soho office into an immersive study, OFFICE HOURS highlights how creative practice is shaped by the quiet chaos of working life. Visitors are invited to visit during designated “drop in” hours to experience the works in person. Dining Arrangements by Rooms Studio — an exhibition by day and a private dining room by night at The Lavery. @thelavery Positioned between an interior design project and a curated exhibition, the space brings together @rooms_studio_ @monument_london @bitossi_ceramiche @mnjaekim - @fels.world @mariana_chkonia and @toliaasta - courtesy of the artist, @emalinofficial & @lc_queisser The atmosphere is restrained and minimal, allowing each element to assert its own character and presence. Objects are not subordinated to function alone, nor are artworks isolated from use; instead, they enter into a quiet negotiation within the shared space of the table. The project seeks to establish a calm dialogue between similarity and difference — between art and design, utility and contemplation. It proposes togetherness without hierarchy, preserving the distinct identity of each participant while allowing them to remain in balance.
