The Dry Bridge Daybed (Reclaimed Oak, Brushed Aluminium) is part of Rooms Studio’s ongoing limited-edition collection, Street Series. The series explores unauthored utilitarian vernacular objects found on the streets of Tbilisi. These precarious arrangements, crafted out of necessity using everyday materials, become the focal point of Rooms Studio’s observation. Sensitively cast, as if from a mould, the series translates the city’s most vulnerable aspects. These perpetually changing arrangements of crude items create an invisible skeleton of the city’s landscape and provide the main axis to the collection.
