The history at E. Dedham Street is layered—the structure originally served as early 1900s horse stables and a blacksmith shop. Bringing new life to this site by converting it into 44 housing units is a unique challenge in "building from within."
We are revitalizing the historic masonry shell while completely reconstructing the interior to accommodate modern residential use. It’s a project that respects the industrial bones of the South End while addressing the neighborhood's current needs.

Historical districts don’t have to be frozen in time. 🧱✨
At RODE, we believe preservation isn’t about pressing "pause"—it’s about "pressing play" on a neighborhood’s next chapter. We’re thrilled to see the City of Boston highlighting our work at 155 Charles Street.
By blending 19th-century fabric with contemporary design, we’re respecting the soul of Beacon Hill while building for its future. 🏛️➡️🏙️

It’s time for the finishing touches at 52 New Street in @cambridgemass ! 🧑🎨 It’s exciting to see this vision coming to life thanks to the incredible work of @callahaninc_ , @rodearchitects , and Tierney Development Services.
Before: Abandoned manufacturing building on 8.6 acres along Chelsea Creek. Brownfield contamination. Decades of vacancy.
After: 146,410 SF of Class A logistics space with 36-foot clear heights, 35 loading docks, and immediate access to Logan Airport and downtown Boston.

The Valentine’s Day rush may have passed, but our love for this project is year-round! 💘 📚 We’re keeping the celebration going for our clients at @lovestruckbooksandcafe following their recent 1st Anniversary. 🥂
It was a privilege to help design and bring this vision to life. Seeing the space transition from a concept to a thriving community hub—where quiet reading nooks meet a sophisticated wine bar and cafe—has been incredibly rewarding. Cheers to many more years of success, storytelling, and toasts! 🍷📖✨
