Revealed – Death Cap Murders is a 2025 Stan Original examining the 2023 Victorian mushroom poisoning case, where three people died after eating a beef Wellington. The three-part series follows the investigation, the trial of Erin Patterson, and the global media attention around it.
We joined the team @dreamchaser_entertainment to help add a new perspective to documentary storytelling - the team used the Cinebot Mini to build a series of repeatable shots allowing the storytellers to create a new take on how evidence can be discussed on screen. Also a dropped in a great time-lapse shot real time with an actor, then ran the same robot move over 20minutes to film the police officers collecting evidence behind her.

Playing with controlled chaos.
In this setup we’re using pneumatic pistons to fire ingredients into each other mid-air. We walk through basics of playing with timing and angles until everything lines up.
Once it’s locked, it becomes completely repeatable. Same move, same timing, over and over — which means we can focus on refining the moment rather than chasing it.
A few small tweaks, a lot of test runs, and eventually the collision lands exactly where you want it.

👒 Beautiful moments stamped in time for Victoria Racing Club’s upcoming race season.
🎞️ Director @jaemorrison vision was to replicate the motion of a horse point of view of the crowd as it tears down the track toward the finish. The high speed abilities of our Bolt robot and tracks was called in to deliver precisely this.

For the last three years Director @mitchkennedy and DOP @tonyluudop have been pushing our motion control tech and upping themselves every time, choreographing high-speed, high-precision camera moves that brought their vision for Kmart to life. Here they push, twist, bend, thrust and throw the camera every which way on the robot to create high energy fun and performance from our fantastic talent.
