Today 30% of CalFire is supplemented with inmate labor despite no direct path to employment upon release. This year over 700,000 acres have burned in California while subsequent fire seasons threaten to be worse every year.

A "Yes" on prop 4 will invest up to 10 billion dollars in fire prevention and a "Yes" on prop 6 will ban forced labor in California prisons. An Official Selection of the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards. 'Fireline' along 30 incredibly talented filmmakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Mexico, Lebanon, Australia, India, Indonesia, Portugal, and Chilé were invited to the Sony Pictures Lot in Culver City to screen our films, participate in work shops and conversations with our peers and industry veterans. It was a uniquely special experience. Thank you @creoartsgroup@sonyfuturefilmmakerawards and thank you to all the SFFA filmmakers.
This was my favorite festival experience. No way to top Ella's first red carpet. Thank you @psfilmfest and @loquaciousmuse for inviting 'Fireline' to Palm Springs Shortfest. We made a family affair out of it.
