It was quite tricky to create and film. All a one take shot, walking backwards, retrograde movements and navigating real New Yorkers enjoying their city during filming. I love art.

Hello from Constant John Productions 👋 Today we launch a fundraising campaign in order to complete our second film, Flatland 2. Woohoo! It seems like everyone we know is crowdfunding right now. The systems that support artists and creative endeavors are failing us. And so we turn to one another for support. Why should you care? Flatland 2 takes a critical look at capitalism but through the lens of comic absurdity. It’s a dance film, set to an original score, where we’ve cartoonified our characters and the worlds they inhabit. It doesn’t look quite like anything you’ve seen before. Why not contribute to adding a little more beauty, whimsy, and thoughtfulness to the world right now? We need support. Any contribution helps. The talent involved in this project is immense. Looking back at the highlight of my 2025 WASTE YOUR TIME was my first @indelibledance show since the pandemic and it came together more beautifully than I ever could have imagined…especially considering that it took place at a wastewater treatment plant. A wild vision that could only be achieved with the talent, support, and dedication of my closest friends and collaborators. Thank you to the moon and back.
