And the reviews keep on rolling in… “For these two fortunate souls, who never quite tumble past the point of no return, debauchery becomes not merely escape but liberation—a messy, imperfect key to self-discovery. They emerge scathed but transformed, having learned that growth and agony are not opposites but conjoined twins, inseparable in the nature of a life fully lived.” Thank you Suzy Goes See for your insightful and thought words. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Sydney Arts Guide. “Mixed in with a great Lighting Design by Raphael Gennusa and Sound Design by Akesiu Poitaha the show is alive and full of light and colourful moments.” “Theatrical devices, clever directing and staging and the Set and Costume design by Kaitlyn Symons take the audience seamlessly through individual spaces, nightclubs, their apartment and bedroom.” “The Manchester accents of our two lead men were perfected by Dialect and Vocal Coach Alison Benstead.” Thank you Sydney Arts Guide for Toxic by Nathaniel J Hall’s first review! ✨FIRST PREVIEW TONIGHT✨ “Manchester, 2017. During a hot and sweaty queer warehouse party, two damaged hearts collide.” After months of rehearsals, the Australian premiere of Toxic by Nathaniel J Hall takes to the stage for its first preview performance! Get ready to fall in love with these two sexy vulnerable souls as they form a bond so tight, they might just survive it all. But sometimes survival means knowing when to leave. As a companion piece to my new essay on the @kagecollective site (out today), I've also put together a travel lens review of the Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 zoom for Fujifilm cameras on my own site--which also just happens to have a lot of images from a trip to Spain last October. So, if you like Spain, or lenses, click the link in my bio for more! #fujifilm #xseries #fujixh2 #kagecollective #fujifilm #fujifeed #xseries #streetphotography #documentaryphotography #sigma

Nice to be back working with @welldonecreativeau on the poster for Head Over Heels at the @hayestheatreco_official later this month. I'm really pleased with how this image turned out, great work by the graphic designer @kenneydesigns and thanks everyone involved in the shoot--Gaz Dutlow is looking amazing thanks to Renee Taylor's gorgeous hair & makeup efforts, Ellen Simpson's direction & choreography, and Brendan de la Hay's costumes (including headgear!). Coming soon to a theatre near you (if you’re in Sydney)! #musical #musicaltheatre #theatrephotography #theatre #sydney #photographingthearts #photography #fujifilm #xseries #fujixh2 #elinchrom

Before the new year truly takes over, I just wanted to do a quick look back at some of my favourite images of 2025—we’re only allowed 20 tags per post though, so apologies to ALL the exceptional casts, directors, creatives & designers I couldn’t include in each of these! Photos are as follows: (1-2) Furious Mattress at @twentyfive_a directed by @margaret.thanos (3) @emmapask and her Latin Jazz Orchestra perform Cosita Divina at @cityrecitalhall (4-5) Posh at @oldfitztheatre directed by @margaret.thanos (That first image is actually eleven photos I spent far too long combining into a single one…!) (6) @kensdoing in Type-A Marketing Man at @qtopia_sydney (7) Foam at @qtopia_sydney directed by @gavviegav (8) @alinta in @strictlybazluhrmann at @sydneyoperahouse directed by @makemymark_au (9) Timon of Athens (or: I Hate People) produced by @sportforjove at the @seymoursydney directed by @margaret.thanos (10) Shack directed by @benjamin.brockman (11) Bright Star at @hayestheatreco_official directed by @damienryan7285 and @mirandajanemiddleton (12) The Edit at @twentyfive_a written and directed by @gjosca (13) Holiday Inn at @riversideparra directed by @sallydashwoodau (14) @thatsmsgaytoyou in Carols by Cabaret at @hayestheatreco_official produced by @lpdprod PHEW! And of course there were many more shows over the course of 2025, these were just some of the images that stuck in my mind when I was thinking back. Here’s to a whole new year of more amazing productions! #theatrephotography #theatre #sydney #photographingthearts #photography
