Community-led organizations are being asked to deliver impact often without the flexible funding needed to sustain it. Join @robertcarrfund for a real conversation on what unrestricted funding actually makes possible and what we risk losing without it. Vibrant Young Voices supported by @robertcarrfund is redefining youth leadership in the HIV response. Through its Youth Advisory Group, young people living with HIV are being just consulted and actively shaping policies, research, and programmes that affect their lives. The Engage Us. Our Health. Our Rights. campaign calls for more than tokenism, it demands real power-sharing. When young people lead, health systems become more inclusive, responsive, and effective. We appreciate the @robertcarrfund for investing in meaningful youth engagement putting the youth at the center, driving change and transforming the future of HIV advocacy.

β€œWhen young people are genuinely engaged, not just consulted, they become essential partners in building health systems that are more equitable, responsive, and effective.”— Gabriela Romero, Y+ Global As the World Health Organization convenes a global webinar discussion on youth-driven HIV interventions today, the Vibrant Young Voices Consortium is already putting this principle into practice. Led by @yplus_global with the Coalition of Children Affected by AIDS and Paediatric-Adolescent Treatment Africa (PATA), the consortium works with young people living with HIV aged 14–30 to design programmes, shape advocacy, and strengthen health systems. The Robert Carr Fund supports this work through flexible core funding that enables young people and communities to lead. Dr. Robert Carr would have been 63 today. πŸŽ‚ He spent his life asking the hard questions about HIV funding, community-led care, and who gets left behind when priorities shift. His sister, Carolyn Carr-Ragland, sat down with us to reflect on the man behind the movement, and the question that still guides our work today: What happens when the grants run out? The answer matters now more than ever. Read more at the link in our bio. #CommunitiesFirst #CoreFunding #RobertCarr
