Photo from 1992 or 93 when Kasha won the US extreme competition in Crested Butte on tele skis. On February 13, 2024 Kasha was killed in an avalanche in Kosovo. She was one of the kindest and brightest lights to be around. I was among the collective to share many amazing expeditions and experiences with Kasha. Speaking for us all, I will - we will all - miss you and thank you for sharing your love with the world. The mountains have taken so many dear friends and amazing people. Heartache again.
Iām happy to share that on December 21, 2022, I summited and skied Aconcagua which completed my 20 year project to climb and ski the tallest peaks on each continent, the #sevensummits. Inspired by my wife, @kitdski who became the first person to climb and ski the seven summits on October 18, 2006 when we skied from the summit of Mount Everest with our good friend @jimmychin . I want to thank Kit, Jimmy, @jimwmorrison , and @benegas_brothers for my final training and support. I would also like to thank @thenorthface for being there for me in my ski career and journey since 1989. #denali May 2004
