A first look into my current research for my new solo, ‘Can I hold your hand?’ continuing my work around grief, memory and collective care. 🪶
Can I hold your hand? is a dance with the ghost of my mother. It illuminates the space through a video made from personal archives of my mum dancing in the hospital with her friends; the performance continues that dance in dialogue with her, through movement and text.
