Gratitude—for beginnings, for trust, and for the paths that shape us.
My first ground-up home. I was a young mom then—juggling a deep love for architecture with the brand-new love of motherhood. I still remember the call: a client asking if I’d be interested in designing a home at the foot of the Grand Tetons. My kids were with me. They didn’t fully understand what was happening, but they felt my excitement—and celebrated right along with me.
That project became far more than a first opportunity. That profoundly beautiful site became my teacher. It was there I learned that architecture should have a quiet hand—one that allows the intrinsic beauty of nature to remain in the foreground.
The second image is still one of my favorites of myself. The joy of seeing a design take shape on a construction site is something that has stayed with me ever since.
I’m endlessly grateful for that call and for that client. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of designing three homes for this extended family, including an earlier project and now our third interior project in Cabo, Mexico.
Swipe to see how the house unfolds—
revealing its quiet connection to the mountain.

We’re so excited to have one of our recent home transformations featured in today’s Winnetka Home Tour!
This project was a complete reimagining of the home, with our focus centered on honoring its unique architectural character and celebrating the incredible golf course views. Rather than changing the spirit of the house, we wanted to reveal and elevate what made it so special — bringing a fresh feel while preserving its timeless beauty.
As we often say, “Some homes are less about changing the house and more about revealing it.”
I would love to see you there today between 9:30 AM–2:30 PM!

We’re incredibly excited and proud to share that our project, Shoreline Reflections, is featured on the cover of the May/June issue of LUXE Magazine.
This project is a true reflection of what happens when a talented team comes together with a shared vision. Each page tells the story of collaboration, creativity, and thoughtful design brought to life.

From a simple ranch to something entirely reimagined ✨
We transformed the exterior with divided light windows, a cedar roof, and freshly painted warm white brick—creating a softer, more timeless presence.
Inside, the floor plan was reconfigured to open up the home. But what I love most is our signature edge-to-edge windows which brought in light and a seamless connection to the outdoors.
With these changes, the home’s entire character shifted—layered, warm, and modern, yet rooted in classic details.
Collaborating with Alex Kaehler, whose interior design brought everything together, the result is a home that feels both timeless and refreshingly new 🤍

Spring in Aspen 🌿
This home really comes alive this time of year — the greens coming in, the movement in the trees, everything starting to wake up again.
We designed the glass to hold those moments… pulling the landscape in from every angle and letting it shift throughout the day. Here architecture feels powerful but still without ever forgetting what’s happening outside. 💛

My first home—a meaningful modern home designed by Henry Dubin in 1938—was more than a place to live; it was my mentor for 15 years.
It taught me how architecture speaks in a consistent language of details, where every line and material felt intentional. The corner-wrapping windows dissolved boundaries, inviting light and nature to become part of daily life. Its open floor plan wasn’t just ahead of its time—it created a seamless connection between inside and out, shaping how I understand space even today.
This home didn’t just shelter me—it shaped me.

April is here, and we're welcoming the month—and our Annual Home & Design Issue—with a breathtaking new issue of Country! We sit down with architect Celeste Robbins [@robbinsarchitecture ] , who has spent her career creating homes that reveal themselves through light, proportion, and a deep connection to nature.
We also celebrate the area's Luxe Living visionaries and experts who shape the spaces we live, work & gather, and we also go inside a stunning lakefront retreat crafted by KED Interiors [@ked.interiors ] for entertaining and relaxing...and SO MUCH MORE!

Feeling ready to bring life outside.
Design begins with the home—wrapping architecture to create a sense of place outdoors. From there, the landscape moves forward, softening each edge as it meets the terrace. Nature isn’t an afterthought here—it’s the focal point. In good company with sculpture by Boaz Vaadia
This is what it means to live in a Gallery Home—where every view is curated, and every moment feels like art. 🌿

So grateful to see so much love for this utterly simple Mid-Century home in Michigan. A space rooted in intention, filled with a curated collection of found pieces—each one telling its own quiet story.
This project also marks something special for us: the official launch of Interior Design within our firm. A natural evolution, and one that feels deeply aligned with how we see and shape spaces.

Designing homes for art collectors means the architecture becomes both backdrop and experience.
You enter through a gallery anchored by a powerful Jaume Plensa sculpture framed against the landscape beyond — setting the tone immediately.
But the house keeps a surprise below, where an unexpected photography gallery unfolds — a quiet sequence of rooms designed to live with an extensive collection.
When art is central to a client’s life, the architecture should create moments of discovery.
