A party that was 7 years in the making — the couple and their crew brought the energy, and I just road the wave all day long. We started with a confetti blast with the girls in the bridal suite, then moved to the terrace that over looked the Tribune tower for first looks. Kaitlyn and I chatted back and forth about locations for wedding party portraits and we landed on the perfect garden/city scape setting. A royal and grand ceremony was to follow at the historic St Alphonsus. The party catapulted further as the sun set behind the skyscrapers and the band set in at Theater on the Lake.
A wedding titled “city chic” by the bride herself, was just that! Overall, the wedding was a perfect balance of sacred and traditional in the ceremony, luxurious and inviting in the design, and electric with energy once the music began.
