When I’m asked for a soft, effortless look it honestly takes SO much focus and reprogramming for me. 😅 As someone whose brain is wired for strategic placement, impact, and creating a full WOW moment… toning it down takes real restraint. My hands naturally want to add more texture, more drama, more polish, more glam. So when I’m asked to make something look “undone” or effortless it genuinely feels like I’m fighting my own instincts the entire time. It doesn’t come naturally to me. But honestly… I’ve been really embracing the challenge lately and finding myself LOVING these softer, more minimal approaches! 🤍 Will I suddenly become a “barely there” glam artist? Absolutely not. 😂🙅🏻‍♀️ But exploring different styles and approaches is what keeps artists evolving. 🥰 And I truly think it makes me better at what I do. ✨ FUN FACT: this gorgeous updo took @jennifer.glamatelier 20 minutes!
