I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself…My name is Birgit DeVae (beer-get like “get beer” but backwards” - it’s Danish 🇩🇰) and I am the face behind DeVae Photography! I started modeling when I was a kid and spent much of my life in front of a camera. In 2019, I made the switch to the other side of the lens and have been photographing stories ever since!
My passion lies in capturing details and all those small in between moments that make up this crazy awesome life… and showing you the beauty in it all! My modeling and fashion background has influenced a lot of my work as I have leaned in to a more editorial style, while staying true to my “real life”documentary approach! being pregnant has been the most magical and beautiful experience i’ve ever had. every day feels like a dream carrying this little universe inside of me. it is an honor, a blessing, to get to be the portal for another soul entering into this world. a divine miracle and the greatest gift we have ever received. we can’t wait to meet our precious boy.
