This week we visited @riserbread and it’s officially one of my favourites
The staff were so kind, the pastries were incredible, and the whole space felt like you’d been transported somewhere in the hinterland… but right here in Brisbane

April menu coming in hot with our burnt honey custard tart. Luscious and gently sweet custard with caramelised @beeonethird honey (from just down the road in Toowong) baked into super flaky puff pastry featuring the ever delicious @pepesaya butter.

You might notice the ceramic finish looks a little like sourdough? That was a conscious choice of clay
New year, new sandwich special collab. We’re doing a Reuben with @barbecuemafia pastrami, house kraut, dill pickles, raclette cheese and Russian dressing on our deli rye tin loaf.

Friends, Xmas is done and it’s a new year. I bet you feel like a brand person? Resolutions for days? Good for you! We’re cleaning the snow off the windows and making focaccia.
