Motherās Day ... Before it became flowers and brunch, it was a protest - and a call for peace. Anna JarvisĀ created the official holiday and then,Ā once Hallmark got hold of it,Ā spent the rest of her life trying to abolish it. I love that about her.
However this day lands for you ā with joy, grief, tenderness, or relief that it will be over by Monday ā I hope you find a moment to tend to something you are creating in your own life. Whatever is closest to your heart and hands right now. All of it is a creative practice. All of it counts.
