I love a labyrinth. An ancient source of inspiration and wonder, walking a labyrinth is a perfect counterpart to the hectic, noisy, and chaotic nature of the modern world.
@veriditaslabyrinth is a global organization devoted to the spread of labyrinths as a method of spiritual insight and community building.
@gracecathedral in Nob Hill hosts two of the finest Chartres-style labyrinths in the world. And there are thousands more to discover at labyrinthlocator.org. Head to my blog rikomatic.com for more of my labyrinth explorations.

It’s worth it to go to @prescottmarketwestoakland just to peep @rat136 ‘a sick Bay Area themed wallpaper.
@honeybsk8n and I have been stopping in for a bite before @panther_skate_plaza and always find something delicious to eat. Just a couple of blocks away!
Hey it’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! I haven’t had a chance to show off this dope tee shirt I got from the Chinese Historical Society in SF’s Chinatown a couple of months ago.
The museum has a tremendous exhibit on the life and legacy of martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, perhaps the most famous Asian American in the world. Until visiting the exhibit, I had no idea Lee had such a strong connection to the Bay Area.
Bruce Lee was actually born in San Francisco in 1940 at the Chinese Hospital at 845 Jackson Street. The son of Lee Hoi-chuen and Grace Ho, through Grace, Bruce was connected to one of the wealthiest and most influential families in Hong Kong.
As a young man, Lee briefly bussed tables at Kum Hon Restaurant at 655 Jackson Street. More lucratively, he taught ballroom dance at the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, 836/838 Stockton Street.
I have a complicated connected to Bruce Lee. Growing up in the East Bay, I was one of the only Asian kids at my school. I was often called “Bruce Lee” and told to demonstrate my kung fu on the play ground. This usually resulted in me getting my ass beat.
But Lee was also one of the few role models in the media that looked like me. So I enjoyed his movies as much as the next kid. And Bruce Lee’s incredible work ethic and clarity of focus on his life goals continues to inspire me today.
Check out the Bruce Lee exhibit at the Chinese Historical Society if you can. I believe it’s temporarily closed because of water damage, but hopefully that will get sorted soon.

First time rolling at, @skate_escape_marin !
One of the best parts of skating at Skate Escape is getting to roll in the shopping mall where the rink resides. This is literally a dream come to life for me. 😇
@honeybsk8n knows how to get it done on any surface. I’m just happy to clown where ever I am.

In March 2024 I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network supports thousands of cancer survivors and their families with research, counseling and community.
I’m participating in the #purplestride walkathon on Saturday along with 1000s of others across the US. If you’d like to support the cause, please see the link in my bio. 🙏🏽💜
