While we may often show off a few fan favorites, Richlite offers over 30+ stunning color options. Let us remind you of the collections you may not always see on your feed – each rooted in our Pacific Northwest history.🏔️  Northwest: Solid colors named after landmarks near our headquarters.  Heritage: Home to our original colors – Natural, Slate, and R50.  Cascade: Inspired by the Cascade Mountains, featuring rich layered tones.  Stratum: A bold look blending paper and plywood, echoing the Palouse canyon of eastern Washington.  Feel, see, and compare swatches by ordering your sample box today. Up close and at Richlite’s core. These raw edges reveal the layers of FSC-certified paper we hand-stack and infuse with thermosetting resin. Alternating fibers, pressed and cured, give Richlite its signature balance, strength, and texture. Transforming simple, natural materials into limitless possibilities since 1943. Sometimes the classics hit hardest. 🥪 Chef Mike Sonier of @ethicaltable keeps it simple with local ingredients, open air, and thoughtfully designed prep surfaces. #richliteculinary #sustainablecooking

A study in precision, heritage, and material mastery. Created to honor 250 years of craftsmanship, the Richard Hennessy collection is presented within a sculptural keepsake box, where architecture meets ritual. Designed in collaboration with Daniel Libeskind and Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the form is defined by sharp geometry, layered reveals, and uncompromising detail. Crafted from Richlite Black Diamond, the structure balances durability with refinement, its leather-like finish offering a warm contrast to the brilliance of the crystal decanter within. Hidden compartments and intentional openings transform each unboxing into a moment of discovery. A collectible. An experience. A legacy. Link in bio for full portfolio showcase.

Richlite isn’t just a design choice - it’s part of the performance. We use @richlite in our turntables for its exceptional density and damping properties, helping control unwanted resonance and let more music come through with clarity and focus. Just as importantly, its refined finish and tactile feel bring a premium, understated elegance that complements the craftsmanship of every deck we build. Performance and beauty, engineered into the plinth. #TurntableDesign #HiFi #VinylPlayback #Richlite #AnalogAudio

Since 1943, we’ve put hard work, grit, and a human touch into everything we do at Richlite. What started as a small, hands-on effort has grown into something we’re still deeply connected to today, making materials with care, intention, and respect for the world around us. Over the years, we’ve continued to evolve through locally sourced paper, WE™ Technology, closed-loop manufacturing systems, ongoing third-party certifications and environmental declarations, and transparent, responsible sourcing practices. Behind all of it is a simple belief: if we’re going to make something, it should be made thoughtfully, and it should last. The result is USA-made material built with accountability from the very beginning. From our earliest days to now, our story has always been rooted in Washington State craftsmanship and the people who show up every day to do things the right way. It’s a promise we carry forward, together, every day. Learn more about our history and sustainability mission at Richlite.com.

LEED v5 from the @usgbc is raising the bar for sustainable design, placing greater focus on carbon, transparency, and long-term performance. At Richlite, we support this shift with FSC-certified paper composite materials designed for durability, low emissions, and responsible sourcing. Explore how Richlite aligns with LEED v5 principles in our latest blog. Link in bio.

One of my favourite materials in the project. Recycled paper countertops from @richlite . A curious thing about the material is how often it reads as white! Black is a tricky color and often lacks the visual texture and wearing characteristics that I look for. The majority of black materials and finishes show scratches and dents in rather unfortunate ways. Richlite is the same material through its thickness and seals with an oil/wax product from @osmo_usa . That combination means it can be easily maintained and refreshed over its life. When there are materials out there that look better at year 40 than they did at year 1, why use anything else?
