What mattered most to our client wasn’t just new finishes. It was feeling heard. Feeling like her style and how she wanted to live in her home actually mattered.

This 1980s home was well built, but the layout didn’t match how this family lives — or how often they host 30+ people. We opened the space, added a walk-in pantry, created multiple work zones, and designed a large island for gathering.
The former main sink area is now a breakfast + prep zone with an expanded window overlooking the woods. The old formal dining room now extends the kitchen with the new main sink and added cabinetry. By closing outdated look-throughs, we created a functional fridge + range wall and made room for the walk-in pantry.
The sunken formal living room became the family’s new homeschool room, and the breakfast nook now features a built-in bench with hidden storage and extra pantry space.
A thoughtful transformation — warm, functional, and designed for how this family lives today.
