Weeeere baaaaack! If you didn’t already know myself and @creator_d_tyler have started a creative club (literally a club for creatives) called Rhythm N’ Roots. You can expect sessions, panels, collaborative experiences and so much more. This February : Our 2nd Sound Cypher Series features the sounds of The Soulquarians together and individually throughout the decades. The Soulquarians were a rotating collective of experimental Black music artists active during the late 90’s and early 2000s. Formed by D’Angelo, Questlove and J Dilla and later joined by Erykah Badu, Roy Hargrove, James Poyster, Bilal, Pino Palladino, Qtip, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Common. They’re often credited with pioneering the genre of Neo Soul. The night will consist of Cyphers, Exhibition Battles and good vibes. All to Soulquarian sounds.
