It was celebration 1930s style today as the iconic Llandudno Colonnade was reopened after a programme of restoration works.
The work will safeguard and enhance the muchâloved historic landmark for generations to come.
The event will featured a ribbonâcutting ceremony, accompanied by live entertainment from local performers including the Linzi Grace School of Dance, and the Llandudno Swing Band.

A chocolate shop in Llandudno has unveiled a special range of Easter-themed treats.
Maisieâs, on Vaughan Street, currently boasts such products as Ducky Dillow, Lucy Lambkin and Bramble Benny (all with chocolate eggs), ahead of Easter Sunday on April 5.
There are also âdotty Easter eggsâ and mini Crème Eggs for customers to enjoy, with all of these treats made at the townâs own âchocolate factory;â the nearby Llandudno Chocolate Experience.

A man from Colwyn Bay has been handed a suspended sentence and a four-year ban from the roads after drunkenly taking a forklift and driving off in it.
Karl Evans, 38, of Grange Road, pleaded guilty to taking a motor vehicle without ownerâs consent, possession of a bladed article in public, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Two police officers were on mobile patrol on September 16, 2025 at about 2am when Evans passed them driving the forklift with a bottle of whiskey in his possession.
