“Chengdu by the Rivers” is a publication developed over one year, structured around the river as a narrative thread—source, flow, convergence, and tide.
Across 15 chapters and contributions from over 50 participants, the book maps Chengdu through seven “urban linpan” diagrams and more than 300 curated locations, tracing its histories, ecologies, and everyday life.
