В мене досі мурашки по шкірі після вихідних. Виступ у Клоузері це щось неймовірне. Звук - чистий. Світловик був моїм братом, хоч ми навіть не знайомі. Організація - рівень. Публіка - взагалі щось потойбічне. Я ніколи не отримував такого теплого, емоційного вайбу від людей. Було дуже приємно побачитись зі своїми друзями та колегами по цеху! Revolt returns to X-IMG with his new album “Netherworld Glow” featuring 8 new cuts of cutting edge techno body music plus a lethal remix by Downwell. Revolt is a Warsaw based producer originally hailing from Lviv, Ukraine & has been operating at the forefront of the techno-electronic body music underground with his sharp original productions & excellent remixes. He recently debuted his first live set alongside General Dynamics in Warsaw this January. Revolt is also part of the Ukrainian collective Zabuttya (Oblivion). With “Netherworld Glow”, Revolt takes his production skills to new heights with this new highly finessed album; aggressive, powering basslines paired with piercing & mechanized percussion are topped off by intricately woven hypnotic grooves & pads, taking his signature sound to new realms. This retro futurist & sci-fi influenced album is Revolt’s most refined work to date & marks a meteoric trajectory for this talented young artist. The tenth guest in Darkness Calls podcast series is Revolt. Bio: Revolt is a Ukrainian-born producer, DJ and software engineer based in Warsaw whose music grew out of teenage explorations of abandoned factories and boiler rooms around Lviv. He first fell into witch house before diving into cold wave and dark wave, then widened his scope to techno, industrial and dark disco to forge what he calls “cold body music”—a blend of EBM’s raw drive and cold-wave’s melancholic pulse, built on huge, sharp basslines, old-school drum patterns, industrial percussions, FX and synths. As a resident of Zabuttya, a Lviv party dedicated to body music in its many forms, he helped shape ten underground events there and now brings Oblivion collective nights to abroad. He played at Berlin’s Dream Baby Dream bar and appeared with his uncompromising style on Kyiv’s festivals such as Strichka and Black! Factory, with additional shows in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil. His releases span X-IMG (Berlin), SHISHI (Tbilisi), Khoinix (London), Synthicide (New York), Murder Records (Tbilisi) and GWI MYEON Records (Seoul), plus remixes for LVCERATE and Lucas Novaes, and a collaboration track with Ukrainian artist Kata on a Murder Records VA.
