So excited to exhibition "e-merging" with @roni.kaufman.art at @tekniskamuseet in partnership with the @domedreamingfestival organised by the amazing @jnsjohansson . Thank you also to @ligeovermiddel for your help! e-merging an evolution of the Myriad, rör.el.ser and Verlustreich projects by Maria Kling and Roni Kaufman e-merging is a physical inquiry into the dissolving frontiers between the organic and the artificial. Wooden branches are screwed into rusting iron rods to create a modular forest, through which orange cables are threaded, generating localized electromagnetic fields, invisible yet perceivable via magnets or compasses. These fields also animate the piece, as digital leaves cyclically decompose and resurrect on e-paper displays. NEODymium by Erik Natanael In a cozy early evening concert, NEODymium blends the sweet sound of experimental traditional music with some of my favourite poems and soft drone improvisations. The music attaches itself to Roni Kaufman's prints by reusing the same RNG seeds to generate glitchy melancholic melodies.
