🌍 Re-politicizing Food Sovereignty: A Call to Action It was an honor to join @amwaafrika to provide insights on the re-politicization of Africa’s food sovereignty struggles. Representing @sheclimate and @restlessdevelopmenttanzania ,the conversation centered on a vital truth: food security is not just a logistical challenge it is a deeply political one. For too long, the narrative around African agriculture has been dominated by external frameworks. To achieve true sovereignty, we must shift the focus back to decentralized systems, gender-inclusive climate action, and the rights of rural women who are the backbone of our food systems @amwaafrika

What does change look like to you? For Hussein, it meant choosing a different path. Growing up, Hussein witnessed a painful cycle repeated over and over again — boys dropping out of school, dreams cut short, and futures shaped by pressure instead of purpose. But he refused to let his story end the same way. Having seen firsthand how difficult life becomes when decisions are made without guidance or preparation, Hussein made a promise to himself: “I would not let my future be dictated by tradition or pressure. I would fight for something better.” Today, his journey is a reminder that when you touch one life, you inspire many more. Never underestimate the power of your efforts, no matter how small they may seem. Click the link in our bio to read more about Hussein’s inspiring story. ✨

Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the drivers of change today. 💡🌍 At ADI’s Head Office, the Alliance for Development and Innovations (ADI) hosted an interactive youth dialogue session in collaboration with @wezeshamabadiliko Wezesha Mabadiliko, bringing together passionate young individuals to explore their position and participation in accessing social, economic, and political opportunities. The session created a vibrant space for learning, sharing, and reflection—where youth openly discussed the realities they face, the barriers limiting their progress, and the untapped opportunities around them. From entrepreneurship and innovation to civic engagement and leadership, participants were encouraged to step forward with confidence and purpose. Through this engagement, we emphasized the importance of youth voices in shaping policies, influencing decisions, and driving sustainable development within their communities. The energy, ideas, and commitment demonstrated during the session reaffirm that when young people are empowered, real transformation happens. At ADI, we remain committed to nurturing informed, skilled, and proactive youth who are ready to seize opportunities and create lasting impact in society. @orvijana @manispaa_ya_morogoro @rs_morogoro @restlessdevelopmenttanzania #YouthEmpowerment #YouthOpportunities #SDGs#Leadership #CivicEngagement
