📍Off the Grid - Treasure Island
(Invite) I went to @offthegridsf hosted on @treasureislandsanfrancisco last weekend and it was such a fun + perfect way to spend m my Saturday! It included a FREE round-trip ferry ride from San Francisco and the ride itself was beautiful on the water and was ~10min each way.
There is one more weekend of Off the Grid on Treasure Island, so make sure you check them out this Saturday May 16! There are a variety of food trucks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, sweet treats, live music, and more. There’s a large grassy area that you can relax on and enjoy the music and city skyline. There are some chairs, but if you brought a picnic blanket/lawn chair that would also be good to secure your spots on the grass.
It was difficult choosing what food to get, but my mom and I chose @respectablebird and @bobchasf . She wanted their chicken sandwich combo that came with fries and a drink. The chicken itself was very juicy and I love a good waffle cut fry. I got the “Healthy Bowl” that indeed was a very balanced bowl 😅 I got the beef bulgogi on it and it came with rice, salad, mixed veggies, kimchi, and a fried egg. The sauce was super flavorful and I loved that there was a little of everything.
