Introducing our lineup for tonight @naliita.n is a Naarm-based multi-genre DJ working across underground house, garage, and global dance music. Spinning on both vinyl and digital, her sets move with deep house warmth, seductive garage rhythms, and low-slung bass, threaded with jazzy textures and rolling percussion. Groove-led and immersive, her selections unfold slowly, carrying the room from subtle tension to full-floor heat. Beyond the booth, her practice extends into community. She currently curates Third Culture Club, an immersive sound and food experience exploring diasporic rhythms, forgotten global grooves, and borderless underground dance music — always rooted in care, curiosity, and the dance floor. @cruisey Cruisey Camel is your guide through the sands of music, navigating and enchanting you into a deep mirage. This Naarm based vinyl oriented DJ/producer is known for packing a hump full of rhythm, featuring records that blend deep grooves and genres of many. With a focus on hypnotic layers and euphoric melodies, CC sets the scene with selections that reflect his Mediterranean roots while encouraging unity in dance. @pazpazpaz Paz’s musical journey began with a passion for blending and editing breakbeats, BPMs and bass, exploring the electronic underground, digging for rhythms, expanding on genres that were born through the lens of sampling culture. @maxhammur Emerging from Glasgow, Max Hammur, the passionate selector and collector, has carved a niche for himself in the scene with an enthusiasm for the eclectic and unexpected, with his sets constantly juggling between genres and weaving through varied influences. @monoot Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Monoot has been throwing parties across Europe for the last 5 years. A selector with an eclectic collection of records encompassing Disco, Italo, House, World and Garage, the policy always remains the same - anything goes. With Monoot’s multi-genre approach, you never know what is coming next. The only guarantee is the sound will be fresh and the dance floor will be jumping. Artwork by @patchingdesign

Emerging from Glasgow, Max Hammur, the passionate selector and collector, has carved a niche for himself in the scene with an enthusiasm for the eclectic and unexpected, with his sets constantly juggling between genres and weaving through varied influences. MAX’S musical journey began in his late teens, fuelled by his family’s deep-rooted passion for electronic music. His uncle’s fondness for 90s US house and techno provided an influential foundation, while other family tastes led him to explore the global sounds of funk, disco, and soul. What started out seven years ago as small gatherings in Glasgow house parties- “gaffs”, has now evolved into a refined style and sound. MAX seamlessly navigates from the unknown to the known, with constant twists and turns, creating a journey that flows from downtempo kwaito to high-energy zouk. His mixed bag of deep-digs ensures there is music for all scenarios, whether its peak time club, full-vinyl listening bar or a festival setting. Each transition is crafted to catch listeners off guard, inviting them to discover new sounds while keeping them rooted to the dance floor. This signature sound has led him to residencies, festivals, and notable events at Aye Heavy, Mándalo, and Max’s Wax. MAX’S passion has carried him beyond Scottish borders, leading him to clubs across the UK, Europe, and South East Asia, sharing bills with top DJs and artists along the way, such as DJ Poolboi, Poly-Ritmo & Minna. Now based in Australia, MAX continues to share his love for the eclectic and unexpected, bringing his signature sound to new audiences and showing no signs of slowing down. Details: Date: Wednesday, 5th November 2025 Time: 5pm - Late Location: Section 8, 27-29 Tattersalls Lane, Naarm/Melbourne Entry: FREE Acknowledgement of Country: We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation who are the Traditional Owners of this land. Frizzy is coming into Section 8 riding a tidal wave of energy after that epic night with Milo Eastwood at 24 Moons. If you caught them spinning, you know the vibe: genre-bending, dancefloor-flipping, and absolutely massive. You can expect her set at Section 8 to be injected with that same leftfield heat and fearless energy—a blend of the deep, the unexpected, and the relentlessly fun. After setting that huge Northcote spot alight, she’s bringing the “Frizzy” energy straight to the container bar. Get ready for an unpredictable night! Closing out the night: @rocco.dunno Bandicoot DJ is Oscar Jol’s current DJ Alias. Despite a change of names, Oscars musical trajectory has remained constant. His passion for Disco, funky low to midrange bpms and lesser known gems drives him to deliver sets that feel good and are easy on the ear. Over the years Oscar has hosted events and played in a multitude of different settings through his label Liquid Sessions. Liquid Sessions has seen local headline acts such Proto Exotica, Darcy Justice, Frizzy Mcguire and Dan Dalton (Ruff Jams) bless the stage, amongst an always exceptional crew of up and comers. Despite having a mixed bag of tunes that often Oscar himself doesn’t even know what he’ll play, you can expect it will be pieced together thoughtfully with the time, crowd and good vibes at the front of his mind.
