We recently completed the fabrication and crane installation of a custom large-scale metal structure at Houston Methodist Hospital — a complex, precision-engineered install on one of Houston's most prominent medical campuses. More work to be done here and we can't wait to see the finished product when it is all said and done.

For Amanda, the Renfrow+Co philosophy of "Imagination Translated" resonates deeply. She loves taking a client’s initial idea, even a simple paper sketch, and translating it into a tangible product that can be built in the shop.
GreenStreet’s first phase of revitalization is complete. In one of our largest planter projects to date, we fabricated a 286-unit aluminum planter system to beautify the space. We also designed a custom cabling system used to plant a vertical landscape between the second and third floors of the buildings, adding greenery to an otherwise grey area. We couldn’t be more proud to partner with @reebeesplacecreation , @rios.imagines and @bdcontractors to bring beauty back to GreenStreet — excited to share more soon!
The importance of engineering cannot be understated in what we do at Renfrow+Co – the Translation part of our business wouldn’t be possible without it. We work closely with reputable engineers who can provide signed and sealed construction drawings, whether structural or foundational, for any project. If desired, we can then carry the project through completion after engineering is complete, from fabrication to installation.
An example of this is a project we completed for the Bridgeland community last year, which was centered on fabricating four identical, intricate butterfly structures. Our first task was to translate the architectural plans through deep structural analysis and engineering. This process was hands-on and collaborative, and with the architects present and supportive, we were able to turn their vision into structurally sound designs before moving forward with fabrication and installation. The finished project yielded not just beautiful but structurally sound butterfly-themed shade structures for residents to enjoy.
Site furnishings take landscape designs from good to great, adding comfort and functionality to outdoor spaces. We design, engineer, and fabricate standard fare site furnishings such as benches to more uncommon features like circular swing seating.

As the first center of its kind in the United States and only the seventh globally, the @ismailicenterhou is a thoughtfully designed space designed to serve as a long-term venue for spiritual reflection and cultural dialogue.
Our collaboration with McCarthy Building Companies, Farshid Moussavi Architecture, and Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects on this historic center in Houston, TX, is one of the most impactful and rewarding projects our team has completed.
The vision for the center is characterized by its stone-clad facade and open verandas that bridge the indoors with lush outdoor gardens. The overall design balances contemporary technology with traditional Persian architecture, which required meticulous attention to detail to ensure the space felt both open and permanent.
Our team was brought in to build and install critical finishing details that ground this complex design. We engineered and fabricated custom interior and exterior railings that complement the building’s geometric complexity, alongside precise ceiling and interior trims throughout the structure. Moving outdoors into the gardens, our scope extended to the exterior decking and custom wood and metal furniture that adorn the property, ensuring aesthetic continuity throughout the project.
The Ismaili Center was intentionally created for a service life of 100 years, setting a high bar for quality and longevity. We are proud of our team for meeting these rigorous standards and contributing our craftsmanship to this beautiful space.
