Breloom has gotta be like a top 10 fella right here right? Hope everyone’s having a good May so far! With this sculpt, I wanted to try and replicate a kind of pseudo-2D style and mix it with the old early CG Pokemon cards from when I was growing up (iykyk). If I had to nitpick a little bit, not in love with the pose and the styles a little muddled but it was a quick one day sculpt so I can’t be too mad at it! Still busy with work and school but I’ll try to get a few more pieces out if I have time. Love you all and have a great week!

🚨VISUAL SPOILERS FOR HOLLOW KNIGHT🚨 Hey guys! Been super busy with school and work but I’ve been working on this guy in the meantime. Not gonna say anything about it story-wise but I figured the Knight sculpture I did needed a sibling. Super happy with how this one turned out! I really wanted to start to develop more of a style so I did this one with no reference (though I’ve put one here just so you can see how he looks in game). I’m really starting to get a feel for Nomad and its capabilities and that’s super motivating. I really do think it’s a necessary purchase if you have an iPad. Also, let me know if you guys like the turnaround video. I could’ve made it with textures and lighting but I figured the matcap (the thing that makes it all rainbow-y) would highlight the sculpt a little better! Anyways that’s enough yapping from me! Just a simple little sculpt I popped out today! Today we have The Knight/Little Ghost/[MASSIVE SPOILER] from Hollow Knight! Not the first time I’ve done art of this little bug and it definitely won’t be the last! For the love of all that is holy, please play the Hollow Knight games! Hey everybody! Hope y’all have been well! I’m working out a new sculpting workflow using Nomad Sculpt on iOS and I figured it’d be good form to start another series I’ll probably never finish! Yay! So I’m gonna start dropping random sculpts and stuff here when I feel like it! First up, Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks! I’m making my way through the Lynch-less portion of season 2 so suffice to say, I’ve been a little bored (no spoilers please!!!). So I figured I’d sculpt my close personal friend Kyle MacLachlan. Not super thrilled with how this turned out; and going forward, I probably won’t be sculpting many real people. But a sculpt is a sculpt and I’m gonna try and post whenever I finish one that isn’t complete garbage! If you have any suggestions about any characters I should sculpt, please let me know! Hey hey! Put a little animation together to show off my new pfp! Got a few small projects in the pipeline that I’ll be sure to show off when they’re ready but I just started an animation class this week so output might slow down a little bit, but I’ll be putting progress updates on my story as they happen. I really appreciate all of the support on @perfectbysoul ‘s drop that I animated the promo for! I’ll probably be posting the raw animation here sometime this week so be on the lookout for that! Week 2 is here! This week I’m focusing on facial rigging and animation! Today was spent doing the hi-res sculpt (somehow like the easiest part of this whole process). Can’t promise week 2 is actually gonna be done in a week but we’ll see how it goes! Wanna make this week a little more interactive so if you guys have a name for the character or something we should have them say etc. post it below! Hell if you wanna voice this dude, hmu and once we have a line, we’ll record it! Ok some quick fun facts about this guy then I’ll leave u alone! Fun fact 1: I’ve been trying to develop a style for my creature sculpts so I’ve been doing my sculpture for the past year with no references! Does this make for some goofy ass proportions? Of course. But I think I’m finally narrowing in on what my humans should look like when aiming for realism. Fun fact 2: This is also the first sculpt I’ve done with a mouth bag and teeth in mind which you can see in the last slide! Fun fact 3: ears are fucking hard to sculpt (see poor example above) Can’t wait to hear your guys’ ideas! Love you all!

Animation Practice Short 01: Benni and Jett Is it perfect? No. Does the score sound like it was composed by an 11 year old? Yes. Does it lowkey look like a bowling alley animation from the 90s? Kinda. But a week is a week and I’m super proud to show this off to you guys! Progress is progress and we can only go up from here! Jokes aside I really like these little guys and I might revisit them at some point but I think it’s time to unlock the camera and maybe up the resolution don’t you? Can’t promise that Week 2 will be next week but when I’ve got animation tests to show off, you bet y’all will be the first to know! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

2025 was challenging, and while I’m not confident 2026 is gonna be any better or worse, I’m committing myself to personal progress- big or small. This post marks my first attempt at character animation: a skill I’ve been trying to work towards for the past 18-24 months. My progress in this goal has been incremental at best. But today something was different. I thought ‘fuck it’ and composed this whole scene in only a couple hours which is a lot for me. So I’m dedicating this year to the ‘fuck it’ mentality. This past year I’ve witnessed my friends create some truly inspired shit. My boy @barlie.wav put out an amazing remix album with some incredible talents (which you’re listening to now). @bellomofest put on a killer live show which I’m praying comes back this year. @nicksimeone_ is making incredible strides in what I’m sure will be a storied culinary career. @something.by.gabrielle started a killer art page. You are all so inspiring! I’m so proud of everyone for making it through this shitty year. I hope we can all stay safe during this challenging time. I love you all!

Work has been tough lately so I’ve been finding it more relaxing to draw in bed instead of sitting at another desk. Definitely out of practice and their anatomy kinda sucks but here are my favorite bug siblings from Hollow Knight! Doesn’t need to be said how incredible these games are and I can’t remember a series that can make me crash out this hard but keeps me coming back for more every time! This may or may not be a small hint at something larger I’m working on in the background but whatever it is, it’s not coming soon! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween and remember, the Radiance infects your dreams so even your bed isn’t safe!
