Blessed that I got to spend the last month (!) between NY and Detroit meeting new people from all walks of life and having some really meaningful musical experiences.
Shoutout to my friends that actually got me this trip as a bday gift ❤️ and to everyone I shared the dancefloor (or skating rink) with.

In lieu of the standard bios, we thought it would be much more personal & representative of each selector's vibe for us to ask them to share a record that really resonates with them on the dance floor, & why.
Guidelines:
Our goal is to showcase BIPOC artists, dancers & promoters, creating more inclusive / safe spaces for them, behind the decks & on the dancefloor.
While our focus is specifically on BIPOC, we want to emphasize that everyone is more than welcome to join & move with us. We simply ask you to be mindful of what we are building towards, & for who.
A good party is a team effort & only truly works if we're all welcoming & make a pointed effort to treat each other with respect, kindness & joy. So come dance & let's create bright moments together. Enhance the vibe / Maintain the vibe.

It has been a while since DJ Pastilha last showed face, but I couldn't be happier for returning for @steppinintotomorrow 2nd birthday.
