Photos with the subject, background and foreground all properly exposed is cool, but can sometimes be boring and flat. It’s good to look for light that can shape your subject and bring some visual interest. That means not running from hard light and embracing the “imperfections” which can ultimately lead to images with depth and personality. All to say… take risks and be creative!

As a photographer, sometimes you’re bless to photograph a couple that become life friends. From their proposal and wedding, all the way to their 1st child, I’ve been blessed to document many of their beautiful moments. Brandon and Genesis aren’t just friends, they’re family.
