On 26 March in London, the launch of BESLA Abroad @besla_inc marked more than a moment. It marked a statement.
For nearly five decades, BESLA has stood at the forefront of Black excellence in entertainment, sport and law in the United States. Its arrival in London signalled the beginning of a global chapter, rooted in legacy, shaped by vision, and driven by the belief that our stories, our influence and our ownership must travel as far as our talent has always reached.
What filled the room was rare: power, perspective and purpose in equal measure. Leaders across sport, entertainment, law and business gathered not simply to celebrate progress, but to confront the deeper questions of culture, ownership and the future being built across continents by the African diaspora.
